Measuring only 91 cm (35.83 in) wide, this petite bench offers comfortable seating for two while occupying remarkably little space. Its compact proportions make it particularly suitable for smaller interiors, apartments, hallways, bedrooms, dressing rooms or as an occasional fireside seat. The solid beechwood frame features two individually defined backrests, each detailed with an elegant row of turned spindle supports. Sculptural armrests, turned stretchers and a central supporting leg give the bench a distinctive French rustic character and an attractive architectural quality. The beechwood has developed a beautiful warm patina through decades of use, with subtle variations in tone and surface wear that emphasize the authentic vintage character.
