About the Item
This spritely and delicate-looking but very sturdy bench looks as if it’s standing on its toes. In form it is a departure from the typical Central European bench. Its clear wood has a beautiful warm color, hand-polished to a golden glow. Its back rail has a rounded top edge and with the bottom rail and three vertical splats, frames two long flat panels. The back joins the wide seat without any opening and the front of the seat is supported by a straight frieze. The graceful cabriole legs are integral to the nicely scrolled arms which, with the armrest and lower side rail, frame another flat panel.
