A 19th Century Gothic Chair

About the Item

An oak chair after a design by E.W Pugin. This is not a “Granville” chair designed by Edward Welty Pugin for the Granville hotel in Ramsgate but an interesting and in period imposter. It shares large almost all of the originals design language but differs in numerous detail, intriguing. Possibly manufactured by Cox & Son.
