19th Century Country Chair

About the Item

A charming and lovely example of an ash and rush seated Cheshire country chair. This large elbow chair having superb color and patina throughout. With a decorative spindle back and outswept shaped arms adjoined to the seat with turned uprights, terminating in pad feet. Beautiful stretcher rails make this chair stable and strong, the rush seat in good condition. Good proportions and full or character, English, 19th century.
