LC4 chaise longue designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand in 1928.
Cassina bought the rights and started to produce these chairs +/-1960. This particular chair is numbered 1153 and has probably been manufactured in the first year of the production.
Under the base is located a label showing an old version of the Cassina logo with the following text: Figli di Amedeo Cassina, Media - Italy.
Overall in a very nice vintage state. The original black pony hide mattress has some hair-loss at one area, see photographs. Original headrest in patinated black leather with some cracks beneath (this is not visible with the headrest in normal position. The rubber straps are all in good state. The chromed structure and black base are in very nice state.
