This magnificent armchair, or throne chair, is a majestic work of seated furniture, decorated to exacting standards in the highly detailed and complex Boulle technique. It is a rare and wonderful French antique, which should take pride of place in a grand study, living room or throne room.
The frame of the chair has been crafted from ebonised wood and inlaid with Boulle marquetry (combining precious tortoiseshell, pewter and brass).
