About the Item

This is a beautiful sofa in a biomorphic shape emblematic of the designs of the 1950s. Although no labels are present as the sofa has been reupholstered in the past, the dimensions and proportions are correct for this design. The sofa was upholstered with a thicker foam which gives it a slightly more plump appearance but also makes for a more comfortable seat, The material appears to be a cream white naugahyde or textured vinyl and has a very soft feel. The sofa sits on sculpted walnut legs. There is a scuff to one area of the upholstery and some minor scratches to the wood legs. Measures approximately 108" in total width, 68" in depth from an imaginary lines across the front to the back, 28" high at back; seat height 16".
