About the Item
Exemplar of the iconic DS600 sofa of the editor De Sede, dating from the 80's.
The DS600 was created in 1973 by Leonora Peduzzi-Riva, Ueli Berger, Klaus Vogt & Heins Ulrich for the editor De Sede. De Sede is reknown for the quality of its productions, either the leather used and the care in details as small parts, foam and wooden structure, that allow these sofas to grow their beauty and comfort with age when well taken care of.
On this exemplar, the suede is in perfect condition, no stain, no weakness, the leather is soft and its age has lightened the colour towards a subtle greyish tone. The base is in brown felt, as the model was at its original conception, felt is in perfect condition. All hinges and zips are present and functional, allowing all kind of shapes to the sofa with its 15 elements.
Total length is 13 ft when straight, almost a half circle when curved.
Suede cleans as leather, and its softness gives it a first class comfort.
