About the Item
Theatrical 1950's Hollywood Regency sofa in the Orientalist modern taste with sculpted greek key arms, shaped back cushions, black lacquered wood trim and Asian style upswept armrests on giltwood mounts.
Newly reupholstered (July 2025) with all cushions replaced with high quality extra firm foam rubber and recovered in a JB Martin citron - chartreuse cotton velvet with contrasting grey velvet piping and skirt dress.
I thought about going a little crazy with embroidered applique and tassels on the bolster cushions but I will leave that up to you.
The term "style of James Mont" is overused and abused but if ever there was an appropriate time for it here it is.
