About the Item

An exceptional and rare Winston sofa designed by Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo Tegnekontor and produced by Nesjestranda Møbelfabrik, Norway, circa 1960. Crafted in beautifully grained jacaranda (Brazilian rosewood), this model represents the refined elegance of Norwegian modernism at its finest. The sculptural wooden frame with its clean architectural lines is paired with generous, low-profile seating, creating a timeless balance between comfort and sophistication. The frame has been professionally restored and carefully refinished, preserving the rich depth and character of the jacaranda. The sofa has been newly upholstered in high-quality black genuine leather, enhancing its luxurious presence while respecting the original design.
