Ceramic Stool Sculpted by Adèle Vivet

About the Item

Ceramic stool by Adèle Vivet Dimensions: 60 x 48 x 45cm Materials: Ceramic This is a serie of ceramic stools and vases. Each piece is unique. They are high fired at 1240°C, composed by a mix of clay and chamotte. Some of the pieces are covered of engobe on the outside. They all are glazed with a transparent and shiny layer inside. Adèle Vivet is a designer-artist who takes her inspiration into memory. She is linking intuitions from childhood memories or past experiences to strong historical and social resources. Through drawing, design and craftsmanship, Adèle tells and gives shape to personal and collective worlds. Her graphic and functional creations are accurate and are always taking for granted our contemporary landscape. She is deeply convinced by the importance of beauty and fight for this right.
