Wilén-Jong is the artistic union of Johan Wilén-Jong and Ashley Wilén-Jong—a Stockholm-based duo whose work blurs the line between function and narrative. Rooted in Scandinavian refinement with a playful, contemporary twist, their designs embody a quiet sophistication underscored by an obsession with nuanced detail.
Johan’s deep grounding in traditional woodworking merges seamlessly with Ashley’s design-led storytelling, creating objects that are tactile, expressive, and built to last. Their practice is as much about material innovation as it is about meaning—exploring new possibilities through 3D-printed quartz sand, or their collaboration with Reishi™ by MycoWorks, a groundbreaking material grown from mycelium.
Guided by a commitment to sustainability and ethical production, Wilén-Jong crafts pieces that are not only visually compelling but made with intention. Every work is a dialogue between precision and poetry, where concept and craft carry equal weight.
Featured in Architectural Digest, Wallpaper Magazine, WWD, Dezeen, and more, their work feels both deeply personal and universally resonant—a restrained beauty with bold depth.
