A 19th Century refurbished and ReUpholstered dome top Metal and wood bound blanket chest in American Colonial style. Measures 33" in width, 18.5" in depth and 26" in height.

Early 20th C. pine and iron mounted trunk. Clean. Measures 36.5" in width, 21.5inches in depth and 24" in height.

A rare, one of a kind late 19th century French carved oak coffer now fashioned as a functional bench as well, featuring modern purple trompe-l'œil faux cushioned seat upholstery with distinctive printed three dimensional button tufting. Blending traditional old world European furniture with bold contemporary style, the original antique coffer / trunk / blanket chest, circa 1875, having a hinged top that lifts open to reveal a spacious interior storage compartment and lid with contrasting red upholstery. The outside having a decorative front panel with cartouche framed by ornate floral and ribbon garland carvings, mounted with iron carrying handles at the sides, over a molded base, with heavy-duty three board planked bottom, rising on front bun feet.
