About the Item

Antique library. The library was presumably built by Augustine Fucito, cabinetmaker of Naples, who produced the Pharmacy incurable Museum of Arts Health of Naples. The similarities with the latter are varied, so that the cultural association "the lighthouse of Hippocrates" of Naples, contacted us to point out the above. The complex is clearly made between the end of the 17th century and early 18th century. (First 700). The age and the Baroque style are a huge rarity regarding wainscoting / libraries or pharmacies that appear on the market. I believe that the work in question arises as library as the average depth of the shelves is greater than that which usually have pharmacies old. The books of all measures fit comfortably in all areas, both in the day and closed storage. Two of the libraries that make up the library were designed to contain 800 jars. In fact the special shelves shaped to this end are an obvious change nineteenth century, while all other shelves and back are the original solid chestnut 3cm hand-cut and nailed paintings. All the shelves are fixed and have the interlocking double loop on the mast. This factor also suggests a structural focus that included the insertion of huge weights, those books precisely. Aesthetically each library has the front recess on 3 slightly angled lines that if you want to have some or all of the furniture so beautifully curved accompanies the trend. Therefore, since all the rights back, you can arrange the elements both in linear or curved. Each library is interspersed with a pilaster panel century, plinth, column and Capitelo Baroque carved in solid walnut. Some of the columns present the original hidden hinges and allow access to the great hidden spaces. Along the pilasters are brought to a finish fishbone made with lastronatura 3 mm. The only unused library pendant with another (width 125cm), which presumably was placed at the center of the library, has a door with uprights veneered walnut 3mm. The blown glass are almost all healthy and original.
