About the Item

A nice 19th century primitive Pine two door Chimney Cupboard in older red paint over the original Salmon color. Through mortise and tenon joint construction on the doors and removable shelves on the top and bottom section. Nice early cock beaded case surrounding the outside of the doors with molded panel inserts.

Condition:
Wear consistent with age and use. Good primitive worn surface. Old red paint is over the original Salmon paint. Pulls are old but probably are a later replacement. Paint losses, stress age cracks, boards on the sides have shrinkage and show open gaps.
