Qing dynasty furniture finds beauty in imperfection and profundity in nature. The table is made of elmwood which was given a dark tint and has developed a deep brown patina. The tabletop features everted flanges. The table is supported by straight legs connected by pierced carved side panels with a flower motif. The spandrels feature a wonderful hand-carved pierced open work scroll design.
