About the Item
A rustic two-tier etagere with a beautifully time-worn surface and remnants of the original blue-green paint. This kind of furniture was made as needed by a farmer or skilled laborer with materials they had at hand, and the best examples show that even for the untrained maker, design matters. These pieces were obviously made to be functional, yes, but also beautiful.
To us, the evidence of wear only increases the appeal, and so we try to do very little to the surface, just stabilizing the piece for another generation of use.
