The Venus Side Table is a unique piece of furniture handcrafted using a traditional Japanese technique called Shou Sugi Ban, which involves charring the wood to create a textural surface. The table combines solid wood and liquid bronze, ensuring each piece is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replicated by machine-made products. In addition to its visually striking appearance, the controlled burning off the wood surface fortifies and protects the wood from future damage.
This preservation technique adds depth and character to the table, making it an excellent addition to any space. The Venus Side Table also features a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design elements, making it a standout piece of furniture. This table can be paired with the Mars Side Table to create a balanced aesthetic, much like the concept of yin and yang.
