Dining tables with marble tops and multifaceted pedestals in cast bronze, blackened bronze or aluminum. Inspired by Doric columns in archaic architecture, the extruded multi-point star pedestals have a different finish on each vertical face: the cast metal is polished on one side but left raw on the other. The shading is amplified by the different finishes resulting in a dramatic effect. The pedestal(s) can be combined with tops in any kind of marble and with any shape or dimension. Amuneal’s proprietary machined hardware clamps onto the posts so that the shelves can be easily adjusted at any time. The burnt oak shelves are milled in house from pine before being hand-finished using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban process of burning the wood. Mirror Perfumer For a famous perfumer we designed several bespoke pieces such as a big bronze mirror for his showroom in Paris. The bronze frame is molded by hand, cast in oilsand and blackened afterwards. A polished bevel at the back reflects the light to the wall. The mirror itself is made to look antique. The antique mirror is availabel in several shades. Manufactured as made to order so slight variations will occur from piece to piece. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting. They will arrive with a bright finish but will oxidise and darken over time to reveal a distinctive patina. Simply use a metal polish to restore a like-new finish. All pieces are numbered and signed at the back. Studio We make objects and interior. Our objects include furniture, accessories and contemporary collectible design pieces. We work with global brands or with private individuals on bespoke projects or on free projects. The act of making is vital to us. We make the most of our work in our studio or with professionals in their field which became friends and understand our way of work and thinking.
