Original color linocut by Werner Büttner "Nachleben" in yellow and black. Printed on laid paper and signed and dated in pencil on the right. The paper has some compressions and slight creases, otherwise the condition is good. Shortly before the Wall was built in 1961, Büttner moved with his parents from the GDR to Munich. Moved to Berlin in 1968 and studied law at the Freie Universität Berlin from 1973 to 1977. After his studies he worked as a social worker in the Tegel prison.
