Victorian Ruby and Pearl Bangle
About the Item
A Victorian ruby and pearl bangle, the nine rubies of oval and cushion shape estimated to weigh 3 carats in total, accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory Report 16606 stating to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heating, surrounded by half-pearls, all mounted in yellow gold with hidden clasp and safety chain, circa 1870, measuring approximately 6 x 1.5cm, gross weight 34 grams.
An elegant ruby and pearl bracelet which comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. The stones are all set to bright yellow gold, which complements the stones and pearls wonderfully. The bangle style of this bracelet makes it comfortable and perfect for either everyday wear or styling with a more formal outfit.
This antique bracelet is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.
