Thunderbird Leather Cuff
About the Item
Unique Leather cuff has a sterling silver Thunderbird plaque with a turquoise cabochon at it's center.
Measures: 2” x 2 1/2” sterling silver Thunderbird plaque, 3/8” turquoise cabochon.
Cuff is 3” wide, tapering to a 1 1/2”.
Adjustable: 6 1/8” to 7 1/2”.
To the Navajo, The Thunderbird is a sacred symbol with many meanings. They believe the Thunderbird protects them, warns them of approaching danger and provide rain to nourish their crops. Like all birds, the Navajo Thunderbird is also a spirit guide. Many Navajo believe the Thunderbird guides the souls of the dead through the underworld.
We appreciate the patina, the oxidized silver, with this gorgeous leather cuff. However, we can polish the silver if it is required by our buyers.
