Retro modernist bracelet designed by Boucheron.
Fabulous flexible bracelet created by the iconic French jewelry house of Boucheron. This statement and unusual bracelet was made in Paris at the atelier of Andre Vassort, during the post-war period, back in the 1950. It was carefully crafted with retro and modernist patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with textured finish. Accented with twenty five prongs mountings, made up in platinum for the settings of the diamonds. It is fitted with a discrete security push box and a hinged slash for extra safety.
Diamonds: Mount in four-prongs setting, with 25 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 2.60 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 45.70 grams, (29.30 Dwt).
Size: 7.25 Inches (18.5 Cm).
Measurements: The central main part is 36 mm by 27 mm (1.42 x 1.06 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks: the heads of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold and the platinum respectively, the maker's maitre cartouche AV inside a lozange mark, the serial numbers and signed in full, "BOUCHERON OR 0.750 71243".
Note: The maker’s cartouche AV, is associated to the 1950's mark for the atelier of the master jeweler, Andre Vassort. The Mo. Andre Vassort atelier, was located in Paris 2, 34 rue Sainte Anne. He collaborate very closely with Boucheron, Cartier, Fred and VCA between the 1950’s and 1980’s, the workshop operations was ceased in the 1990's.
