This is a handsome bracelet composed of chunky links of some rather exotic gemstones.: jadeite, omphacite, and copal. Jadeite is the most prized variety of gemstone group we call "jade." Omphacite is a lesser-known member of the jade family. And copal? It's tree resin, just like amber. The difference between copal and amber is age: copal is thousands of years old; amber is millions.
The rectangular cabochons measure 15mm x 22mm and each is set in a silver frame, hand-crafted by a silversmith in Mexico. This is an 8" bracelet so it will fit many men and women.
