Antique 18th Century Chrysolite Chrysoberyl Pendant Earrings Portuguese c. 1770
Extremely Rare Museum Quality Antique 18th Century Chrysolite Chrysoberyl Pendeloque Pendant Earrings, Portugal, c. 1770, fitted in antique red leather case with golden decorative accents. Each earring is designed with a circular cluster surmount, leading to an openwork French bow a ribbon spacer link, suspending a pear-shaped pave cluster drop, the jewel set throughout with circular, oval, pear, cushion and calibré cut yellowish-green to greenish-yellow chrysoberyl gemstones closed-set in silver. Genuine and original 18th century chrysolite earrings of this style and design are exceedingly rare and highly collectible. Dimensions: 6.1 x 2.7 cm. Gross weight: 39.7g. Tested silver, not marked; partially restored lever-back fittings.
