Located in Palm Springs, CA
Sterling silver and lacquer enamel ring with gold heart decoration created by Walter Schleup of Canada. Ring is a finger size 7 and is signed Schleup, Sterling and also inscribed by his hand Pour Monique, Walter Schleup, '72. In very good vintage 1970's condition with some wear conducive with age.

Walter Schluep spent most of his childhood in Switzerland where he completed training as a jeweler and diamond setter. When he arrived in Montreal in 1954, he worked as a setter as the experienced workforce in this area was scarce.
He held a position in the workshop of Gabriel Lucas and performed some work for Georges Delrue. Delrue welcomed to his workshop several young jewelers from Europe who, along with Schluep takes an opportunity to make the acquaintance of Hans Gehrig...
