About the Item

Alpaca silver fish bottle opener. Featuring Blue Pacific abalone inlay, contrasted nicely against the black backdrop of the piece and large white and black shell eyes. Its body is flat with curved open mouth that constitutes the bottle opener. Body is wide at front and tapers to a narrow point at tail. Tail features the same abalone overlay as the body and juts out to create both a 3-dimensional look and a grip for easier handling. Likely from Taxco, Mexico where most Mexican folk art like this piece originates from. This sleek mid-century modern style piece would complement any bar or barware collection, suitable for continued use or display.
