The jewels are from the estate of Hollywood Legend Mary Lou Daves and we have a photo of Ms. Daves wearing them. Ms. Daves' jewelry exemplified her exquisite taste. Her jewels were unique, dramatic and elegant and most were the gift of her beloved husband, the legendary Hollywood director Delmer Daves. Ms. Daves explored the concept of Love throughout her life exemplified by her book, "Lovers: 100 Works of Art Celebrating Romantic Love...", and these romantic jewels are another example of her enduring expression of love.
The necklace is composed of natural Amethyst and Rose Quartz gems carved into hearts. The combination of the purple amethyst gems and the rose quartz is absolutely exquisite. The design of the necklace is stunning as the cascading bib of heart shaped gems plays beautifully around the neck. The necklace is 14 Karat Yellow Gold and has a wonderful barrel clasp.
