This unique white gold ring was made by the jewellery house 'Grima' and features a sizeable boulder opal set with diamonds on a triangular shank. This pair of modernist 18 karat gold rings were designed by American Canadian architect Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Company. The design of these rings is known as 'Toque' and dates to post 2006 when Gehry first designed for Tiffany. One of the rings is crafted from 18 karat white gold and the other is from 18 karat yellow gold. The white gold ring is pave set with thirty brilliant cut diamonds which are each of G colour and VS clarity, totalling 0.15 carat. The rings have a flat tapered shank with a square profile which lends them to being able to stack nicely together. The handmade ring would likely have been adapted from a 'fob' seal to a ring at same stage during the 20th Century, making it more wearable and desirable.
