This is the most gorgeous dress!
It is made of such a beautiful delicate silk fabric and lovely strong saturated colours, the shape is typical 1970s. The construction is so well done and there are so many beautiful handmade details. The upper silk is super soft and pleated, it falls in ruffles. The black undersirt has a strengthened hem to create and maintain the shape. The collar falls in ruffles and the front part closes with little hooks. The buttons are covered with the silk fabric. It has two labels inside, one says Walter Gross Zürich (now called GROSS COUTURE, a distrubutor of Haute Couture fashion) and the other one says Paul-Louis Orrier, the designer. This is such a rare one of a kind Couture dress. It comes with a matching belt. The belt had a velcro fastening, I am very sure this was added afterwards, also it didn't work so I removed it. The belt no only closes if you tie it, I would recommend to maybe add press button for your desired fit.
Paul-Louis Orrier is an amazing 20th century French designer whose work can be found in the Mint Museum, NC and in the Texas Fashion...
