Madrid - Bowls and Baskets

The Sexy Collection candy box was designed in 2024 by multidisciplinary creator Gala Fernández and produced in Italy. The piece is crafted from recycled Murano glass using the blown glass technique, resulting in a refined object that balances traditional craftsmanship with contemporary material awareness. Gala Fernández, originally from Madrid and currently based in Milan, works across art, design, curating, interior and product design, graphic design, and publishing. This versatility allows him to navigate fluidly between artistic expression and industrial design, bringing conceptual depth and technical precision to his work. His professional background includes several years dedicated to teaching, as well as experience at Fabrica, Benetton’s creative center in Treviso.
