This elegant wall clock was realized in Paris, France during the 18th century by the celebrated maker Caron. It offers an ovoid body with a circular polished brass chime with a starburst motif in the center at the top flanked on either side by stylized ram's heads and a pommes de pin finial. Additionally, there are neoclassical motifs throughout including sculptural draped laurel leaves, iconic column detailing, roman urns; and acanthus leaf detailing.
