This 38" x 48" x 1.25" oil painting on canvas by Boston, Massachusetts-based painter Anthony Dyke is a geometric abstraction of the seaside town Provincetown, Massachusetts. Many of the shapes are irregular, triangular shapes of varying blue hues that represent the water of the Cape Cod coast. Pops of orange, yellow and vivid green make up a busy scene, deconstructed into blocks of color and simplistic forms. Dyke created this scene after a visit to a local outdoor cafe on the beach in Provincetown, the outdoor umbrellas...

Ceramic Nippon Morimura Brothers Decorative Dish Vide Poche or Catchall, 1800s

Located in Oklahoma City, OK

A rare find, this decorative oval shaped Nippon catchall by Morimura Brothers is a fabulous example of early Japanese ceramics. A lovely ceramic dish for holding change or other items, it will be a fabulous chintz addition to any nightstand or foyer table. Highly decorated in bouquets of pink and yellow flowers, the center of the dish is the showstopper. A chinoiserie bird in flight with a pink breast and yellow, blue and green feathers takes center stage. Surrounding him are more bouquets of flowers and a single pink and blue bird. The rim of the dish is encircled with a blue ribbon adorned with intricately painted flowers such as white daisys and pink and yellow peonies. Two handles are at each end for carrying. The handles and the rim are both painted in gold. The back stamp at bottom reads in green, “M-in-Wreath, hand-painted ("M" stands for importer, Morimura Bros.); Nippon.” Mark used since 1911. The practice of painting of the word “Nippon” on ceramic bases began in 1891 in response to the U.S. McKinley Tariff Act, which forbade the import of items that weren’t “plainly marked...

Vintage Hollywood Regency Carved Swan Side Table with Shelf

Located in Oklahoma City, OK

A striking vintage carved swan side table, exquisitely crafted with sculptural avian supports and refined decorative detailing, embodies the elegance of Hollywood Regency and chinoiserie-inspired design. This rare accent table features two beautifully hand-carved swans forming the side supports, their gracefully curved necks and hand-painted details adding a sense of movement and artistry. The tabletop showcases a richly figured wood veneer arranged in a geometric parquet pattern, framed by a delicately carved apron with scrolling vine motifs. A shaped lower shelf provides both structural balance and functional display space, while the tapered legs are adorned with subtle gold details, enhancing the table’s overall sophistication. The warm, polished finish highlights the depth and variation of the wood grain, giving the piece a luminous, high-end presence. Perfect as a statement side table, occasional table, or accent piece, this table blends seamlessly into a range of interiors—from traditional and eclectic to Palm Beach, chinoiserie, and Hollywood Regency spaces. This is the kind of decorative object that interior designers seek out—distinctive, sculptural, and impossible to replicate. Condition: Good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. Light finish variation to the top, adding to its authentic character. Structurally sound and sturdy. Styling Ideas: 1. Palm Beach / Chinoiserie Pair with bamboo chairs, ginger jars, lacquer pieces Think: green + white + brass 2. Traditional / Collected Interior Next to a skirted chair...
