Beautiful Antique Loving Cherubs Gold Metal Pocket Watch Holder or Porte Montre

Beautifully handcrafted antique display stand or porte montre from which to hang a pocket watch features an ornate, baroque scrolling motif antique gold finish metal frame with a pair of loving cherubs on top and a burgundy velvet circular cushion back with one hook. Would make a wonderful gift for a pocket watch collector! The pocket watch hooks from the center hook, with the circular velvet padding behind. The velvet is loosely attached and shows some wear which is to be expected due to age. Decorative easel back stand is stationary and is attached to the back. Please note pocket watch in photos is not included. It is just being used to show you what a pocket watch would look like hanging on the hook.

Byzantine painted cameo is encased in a gold overlay with incredible double-sided pictures.
Upon microscope observation, this appears to be a hand painting with beautiful detailing.
Pin's opposite side is family loved one's photograph protected under a plastic covering.
Both are encased in a plastic cover which is removed through the bezel of the pin. (We have not disturbed the casing so therefore we warrant no disassembling).
This is a precious and rare relic of history and in a lifetime offer.

Beautifully handcrafted display stand from which to hang a pocket watch features an ornate, embossed scrolling motif gold metal frame with leaf and red glass bead embellishments and 3 hooks. The pocket watch is inserted from the back of the stand, to hang from the center hook and be decoratively “framed”. Beneath the frame is a whimsical peacock on a nest containing 3 golden eggs, 2 golden flowers with turquoise centers and 3 leaves. Stand attaches to a rectangular alabaster stone base with a beveled edge. Bottom is felted to protect table surface.
