Vintage Louis Vuitton "Lady's Trunk" early 1920's brown monogram coated canvas and leather wardrobe steamer trunk. Featured in "Louis Vuitton: 100 Legendary Trunks". This trunk was owned by Mrs. Paul Healy; Chicago socialite and family member of the Lyon & Healy Harps music company. Brown signature "LV" monogram coated canvas. Brown leather trim and wooden slats with "Louis Vuitton" stamped brass studs. Hinge top with single brass draw bolt on either side of center draw bolt with lock. Center adjustable leather strap with brass buckle. Two leather handles; one on either side of trunk. Fully lined. Interior lid is padded with twill ribbon tape and studs in a diamond pattern.
