There’s this stigma surrounding mental illness as if it makes someone weak or defective in some way. It would be inappropriate to imply that a paraplegic is too indolent to walk, just as it would be inappropriate to condemn someone for experiencing emotional or mental distress.
Nevertheless, this kind of behavior occurs every day for a variety of intricate reasons. I was more than the problems I was facing and the only way I could let people know was visual.
