A Gentleman’s Private Lounge

For the 2015 edition of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase we were awarded the The Gentleman’s Private Lounge. Inspired by Sargent's iconic painting 'Dr. Pozzi at Home' we imagined the private dwellings of a 21st century gentleman. The main focal point in this room is the wall treatment: an oversized mural composed of a 19th century Acadia arboretum etching. The room showcases an array of vintage furniture and avant-garde 21st century furniture.
