Bohemian Bachelor Pad

Bachelor Pad by Hubert Zandberg Interiors in London, GB

Set on the Regent’s Canal in London, this 5-level house was once the canal-keeper’s house, the lower levels storing hay, horses and coaches but more recently reincarnated as a motorbike workshop, before being the home for passionate collector and designer, Hubert Zandberg.

A retrospect and reconciliation of the present, Hubert’s South African roots intermingle with his natural curiosity toward all things unique. A self-admitted antique market junkie, Hubert has drawn from complex combinations of the most disparate objects in a seemingly effortless way, the result a treasure trove of curiosities that evokes all the senses. Layer upon layer, from contemporary furniture to war inspired weaponry, modern art to tribal animal parts, Hubert has expertly managed to create a surprisingly calming environment.
