Brooklyn Heights Pied-a-Terre

The high-ceilinged, one-bedroom pied-a-terre overlooks a beautiful tree-lined street in Brooklyn Heights and the goal was to keep the interiors clean, simple and open to the light. Lewis Birks, LLC was contracted to help with a gut renovation that included the kitchen, bathroom, and re-working the apartment’s layout. In order to maximize storage, light oak millwork houses the client's collection of books and ceramics and also serves to unify the language of the apartment. The furnishings are a mix of contemporary and vintage pieces, all chosen specifically to complement our client's artwork, which he collected over his extensive travels.
