Craftsman Goes Mod

Our creativity was really let loose with this project. We were tasked to transform a nursery, playroom and master bedroom. Our clients came to us wanting something unique and elevated. The architecture of their home is an Arcadia craftsman style, but they wanted to go much more bold and modern. Our incorporation of natural materials and neutral color palettes ensure that it doesn't feel out of place. We brought in a muralist to paint a custom design in the nursery, color blocking in the playroom and plaster walls in the master bedroom. We also focused on our lighting placement and fixture selections to elevate the spaces. We brought in a lot of black for a high-end feel, which is then balanced by a ton of texture, for a more relaxed feel . One of our favorite details is the custom walnut busy board we designed for the playroom.
