“Built-in character throughout the interiors, like chair rails and stained glass windows, felt like the beginning of a sketch, but there was room to elaborate.”
From the beginning, we wanted to embrace the home’s classical architecture while capturing the emotional essence of California living. We extended the paneling to the ceiling, introduced pocket doors to the den, and repositioned the staircase, making the layout more family-friendly and functional.
