FREE FERRY

This home is the fourth residential project that I have decorated in collaboration with these clients. The house was purchased by these clients for weekdays, as they head to other residences for weekends and holidays. When the house was purchased, it had classic proportions and details but needed customization to fit their lifestyle and taste. The husband is an avid supporter of public arts and collector of contemporary art, where as the wife is a lover of horses, gardening, and antiques. The trick was to blend their personal aesthetics into a new space where they could simply move into with only their clothes. My goal - with an eight month deadline - was to create a space that looked curated and collected over a lifetime.
