Georgetown, DC

Family Home by Mona Hajj Interiors in Washington, DC

A Colonial style home built around 1910 in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The property was a very unusual combination of two buildings that were last renovated in the 1970’s. We gutted the past renovations to peel back the layers to a more authentic space. Having many mixed and quirky features we tried to create a more consistent classical architectural vocabulary. The interior was integrated with the architecture to create an inviting, comfortable, casual, yet elegant home.
