Situated in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood Arts District, the Grendene Global Brands Headquarters is a 3,190-square-foot corporate interior masterpiece designed and delivered by Nicholas Gennari and Roberto Racy of Nar Design Studio. Serving as the North American commercial hub for Grendene S.A.—one of the world's largest footwear producers—the space completely reimagines corporate interior design by translating brand identity directly into spatial architecture. Moving far beyond basic commercial furniture placement, Gennari and Racy converted a raw industrial concrete shell into a highly functional, fashion-forward environment featuring collaborative unassigned workstations, flexible breakout spaces, and private huddle rooms themed around iconic sub-brands such as Melissa, Ipanema, Rider, and Zaxy. The design philosophy merges Wynwood’s industrial heritage with a vibrant, tropical materiality, utilizing a signature corporate palette alongside light natural wood veneer, expansive forest murals, and suspended biophilic elements. The technical layout incorporates advanced integrated acoustic controls, continuous linear workspace lighting design, and extensive custom cabinetry storage running seamlessly along secondary walls to maximize floor plate flexibility. This corporate masterwork connects directly to Nar Design Studio’s wider body of design research—from our high-end contemporary residential penthouses in Brickell to the wellness-driven architecture and design research showcased globally during the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale as part of the Time Space Existence exhibition.
