Retail by Doug Meyer Studio in Miami Beach, FL
Designed for one of Meyer’s favorite clients. The Lace Beauty Salons – was devised to create a unique jewel box experience for clients. References were: Tangier in 1967 meets Miami Beach in 1958 meets Bloomingdales New York first floor in 1970. The color palette of turquoise, emerald, white and silver ruled the retail spaces, while the manicure stations were a foil of all silver with hot pink metallic on the ceiling. The hair areas are all pink and silver using vintage vinyl on the chairs mixed with pink Venetian mirrors - old meets new meets color.
