Located in a private enclave in South Laguna, this project was the first of a few vacation homes for a long-time client. After an extensive search along the southern California coast (and thanks to our client’s incredible gift for seeing potential), we all agreed on a property with good bones, perched on a cliff with sweeping views of the Pacific…but in need of serious help. The peeling wallpaper, mildewed drywall, blue toilets and other late 70’s gems would have been hard for many to see past, but their patience and shared vision helped us deliver a complete transformation that reflects their personal lifestyle. One of very few beach homes with its own pool, this 4800 sq. ft. residence opens to a private central yard creating a wonderful connection to the perfect California climate.
