Le Rock

Restaurant by Workstead in New York, NY

In Raymond Hood’s soaring architecture and artworks by Lee Lawrie, Rockefeller Center embodies the energy and optimism of New York. To create the new restaurant Le Rock, Workstead has reinterpreted the welcoming, refuge-like atmosphere of the French brasserie for this iconic setting. Comprising 4,000 square feet in the southwest corner of Rockefeller Center’s International Building, the project abstracts the Art Nouveau vocabulary of traditional brasseries to suit the angular, Art Deco context.
