Located in the heart of Marylebone, this ground and lower ground floor office space with a back courtyard was converted to a sophisticated, playful enfilade residence for our young female client.
The property was completely gutted, the interior architecture redone to maximize on light and function, allowing each room to be open to the next and subsequent rooms or cleverly closed off for privacy. Full height sliding glass doors offer versatility and the ability for seamless interaction from the outdoor terrace with its living green wall to the indoor sitting area, also flooding the entire space with natural light.
The result, a modern boudoir, offering a sense of theatre and old Hollywood glamour with plush and sumptuous fabrics. The space was brought up to date stylistically, by using contemporary furnishings and art with a strong retro element. Mirrors were used for both function and utility, increasing the scale and grandeur of the space.
