Milano loft

The loft is the Milano base of Spinzi Design. Located in the northern part of the city, it sits just outside the center, and close to the productive area where most of Italian furniture is crafted. The space has been refreshed with an industrial twist to reflect the soul of Spinzi Design and welcomes the influence of Milano’s precious heritage while offering a fresh and international approach to milanese lifestyle. The loft is a creative atelier in constant transformation, and reflects the multi-faceted personality and the countless passions of its creator. All that’s inside, from vintage to modern furniture, from collector's cars to ethnic decorative objects, finds a meaningful collocation into the loft and defines a wunderkammer effect. This collection is the expression of the multiple passions of the contemporary gentleman, ranging from classical art to modern industrial components, from Murano glass vases and sculptures to mid century chandeliers. The big, open space interior is divided in areas defined by the presence of different pieces of furniture; most of them are Spinzi's own design, paired to mid century chairs , lamps and furniture reclaimed from old milanese factories. The art on the walls is the work of multiple different contemporary artists, both from Italy and the rest of the world. Some paintings are site-specific and were created with this collocation in mind. The selection of artworks, continuously evolving with the space, is curated by Tommaso Spinzi, our founder. The atelier was designed to be a place where clients can experience Spinzi’s philosophy, and discover the firm’s approach to interior and furniture design. It is a space conceived for conviviality and easy living, to inspire and stimulate creativity, and to express a sense of beauty and masculine playfulness.
