NORTH SIDE PIED- A -TERRE

This gut renovated Pied a Terre on Chicago's Lakefront was designed for easy living. Guided by the architecture and style of the Beaux Arts building, the apartment boasts original plaster walls, trims and gorgeous acanthus leaf moldings. Black accents such as high gloss interior doors and deep espresso floors ground the soft white shell while maintaining the classic feel of the overall space. Rooted in tradition with a lean into minimalism, the furnishings say just enough without roaring or over powering the small and simple space. Antique lighting of the period was selected and paired with simple, modern architectural fixtures in keeping with our firms signature take on the mix.
